How the notice deadline is worked out

Notice deadline = contract end date − notice period. A contract ending 31 December 2026 with 60 days' notice must be cancelled by 1 November 2026. If the contract auto-renews and the deadline has passed, you're committed to the next term, and the tool shows the next end date and deadline.

What to do with the results

  1. Due within 30 days: decide now: renew, renegotiate or cancel in writing.
  2. Due within 90 days: start the review. Check usage, pricing and alternatives.
  3. Locked in: diarise the next deadline so it doesn't happen twice.

What is a contract notice period?

The time before a contract's end date by which you must tell the supplier you won't renew. If you miss it, an auto-renewing contract usually continues for another full term.

How do I calculate the notice deadline?

Subtract the notice period from the end date. A contract ending 31 December with 60 days' notice must be cancelled by 1 November.

Is my contract data uploaded?

No. The list is read and checked in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I add the deadlines to Outlook or Google Calendar?
